With so many designers out there, why pick me? How will I be able to help you solve your design dilemmas?

Deciding to take on a project no matter the size is a big decision. I want you to feel comfortable and excited for the transformation so I will guide you through each step! I’m dedicated to work with you through the entire process so you know what to expect. I’m not just your designer, but I’m your project manager keeping an eye on all the moving parts.

Whether you are interested in refreshing a space with impactful changes, adding some “oompf” with accessories, or completing designing from scratch, I will start with a complimentary meet & greet to discuss your priorities and wish list. This will typically last an hour and from this I will pull inspiration and gather important basic information for your project.

Depending on the scope, we will discuss the best offerings for you. Perhaps you are in need of a consultation. This is hourly and can be great for those looking for guidance on how to move ahead with some work you’ve already done. You can run ideas by me…perhaps you just can’t decide on a paint color or your room doesn’t “feel” right. A layout adjustment could do the trick. We can talk about tailoring the right package for you!

If a full scope design project is the direction we are going in, I will give you a time frame to expect our follow up meeting where I will present a mood board with inspiration pictures I’ve gathered. This visual presentation sets us on the right path and it’s very important to get your feedback. The design direction will be based on this valuable time together! You’ll also need to complete some painless homework for me to get you and your significant other to think about details I’ll be interpreting for the right look and feel.

After we are excited about the design inspiration, I will get to work on the design concept with floor plans and additional visual ques. This is a more detailed, specific design direction tailored to your exact project and budget. From here, we get real!

Whenever I can, I love to use artisans to create custom pieces for your project. It adds a personal touch that can be lacking from stores. My network of artists and artisans are top notch, talented individuals we can commission for unique pieces!

Once we finalize a design, I move ahead with client approvals before anything is purchased. Please keep in mind, purchases are final and cannot be returned due to their custom nature and vendor policies. Don’t worry! We’re not making rash decisions and it’s natural to be a little unsure of the full vision until each piece of the puzzle is in place. That’s why I’m here…to translate.

As your project progresses, I coordinate with the vendors, artisans and the like to move it along as smoothly as possible. Yes, there might be hiccups along the way but I do my best to minimize the impact. From concept to completion we are communicating!
